Our purpose at Moen & Associates is to streamline your workflow by structuring a “state-of-the-art” information
virtual office, all designed specifically for your business in mind. You are in control, wherever, when ever, there is no need to go into your office
because you can easily connect to your virtual office.
How does it Work Our high speed servers pass keyboard, video and mouse signals to your internet connected computer via a built in client installed in all Microsoft XP operating systems. All processing and protected data storage is located in our server farm. Be assured our custom Terminal Servers are extremely fast and hassle free. Don’t worry if you don’t own Microsoft XP we will give you client software that will install on any Windows operating system.
It is a virtual

Flexibility to access applications & data (Act, Goldmine, Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Accounting Software, Fax Server, remote printers, etc) from any location in the world with Internet access.
Employ your own personal local fax number that delivers your incoming faxes to your Outlook inbox that you can access from any location. No more depending on the fax machine at the office. Fax and receive from 1 to 500 faxes from your desktop.
Hosted Email is another amazing feature. We will host your own personal domain email. We employ state of the art Microsoft 2003 Exchange Servers. You can access your email & public folders via Outlook Web Access or Terminal Services. Feel safe that we use the most effective Anti Virus and Spam Neutralizing software. We kill 98% of all Spam before it arrives in your inbox.
Secure & Encrypted data storage. We realize that your database is your lifeline to success, and no one else but you will have access to your data, unless you authorize
it on your virtual office.
Back it Up ~ no more worrying about what happens when your computer crashes. Your secure data is backed up nightly to streaming tape. Then the tape is taken offsite and held in secure fireproof storage. In addition your data is copied, archived to DVD and sent to you quarterly.
The Payback ~ Not only will you be streamlining your own efficiency. You will also be able to manage your own effective marketing
campaigns from your virtual office. Strategically targeted by you, for your specific requirement.
For example, let say you are using Act or Goldmine for database marketing. You may select 350 names that meet your selected search criteria, like zip code, building type / size required, target asking price, etc. We then create a 14-day marketing campaign. On the 1st day you send 350 emails with return receipts requested, 2 days later you send 350 Faxes with coversheets. Each one of these steps takes about 15 minutes. On the 5th day you send out 350 personalized flyers, postcards or letters. Based on the responses of your email, fax and letter blast you follow up with calls and appointments. When this campaign concludes in 14 days feel confident to repeat marketing cycle.
Additional Details
The Connection ~ your contract entitles you to (2) terminal services licenses. This means that two brokers or personal assistants can access your data simultaneously from the same or different locations.
The Fax ~ you contract entitles you to (2) different (incoming / outgoing) local fax numbers and (3) different email addresses; you have the power to send and receive up to 500 faxes per day.
Moen & Associates suggests using Microsoft’s XP operating system. This operating system contains a built in remote desktop that is designed to access terminal servers.
Remember ~ the faster Internet access and remote computer you own the better terminal servers
(virtual office) will work for you. We suggest you only use dial-up to access the terminal servers in an emergency.
Monthly Investment Required
The monthly rate is two hundred fifty to five hundred dollars per month depending on the number of users and with a minimum one-year contract. A small initial startup fee may be required.
All remote computer workstations, remote operating systems, remote firewalls, Internet access from your remote location (office, home, car, etc), Act, Goldmine, Microsoft Office, or any other application software license(s) are not included in this agreement.
If you do require remote workstations, Software, Internet access, printers, etc. or assistance with programming, training or customization we at Moen & Associates are here to assist you for a nominal fee. Our consulting rate is $75 per hour. Any additional equipment of course is additional.
